Privacy Policy

Kinnavo is built so that we never see, collect, or store your personal data. We have no servers. The app contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, no tracking and no third-party SDKs, and it makes network requests only to Apple's iCloud and App Store.

Your contacts

Kinnavo reads your contacts from Apple Contacts on your device to show them in the app. It does not copy them anywhere or send them to anyone.

Kinnavo changes a card only when you explicitly ask it to, and you see the result immediately. A personal list's word goes into the field you chose in Kinnavo's settings; a work list's word goes into Company. A contact you create through Kinnavo in My Favorites mode gets the word #Kinnavo, so you can find and sort the new ones later.

What Kinnavo stores, and where

Kinnavo stores what you create: work lists, sticky notes about people with the photos, documents and links you add to them, and your own marks on a card — Gems, languages and quick actions. Of the contact information itself it keeps only name snapshots: on sticky notes and in your search history.

Sticky notes, work lists and a few settings, such as list colours, sync through your own private iCloud. Gems, languages, quick actions and your search history stay only on the device where you made them.

Only you can access any of it. We have no access — not through any dashboard, not through any API.

What happens on your device

Everything Kinnavo makes, it makes on your device:

• When you photograph a business card or an ad, or choose a picture or a QR code, Kinnavo reads the text and the code on your device. The picture is not sent anywhere.
• When you share a link, a picture or a PDF from another app into Kinnavo, it is kept on a sticky note, like anything you add yourself.
• When you send contacts — your card, someone's card or a list's contacts — Kinnavo makes a vCard file or a QR code with standard card fields only. Your Kinnavo marks — Gems, sticky notes, languages, quick actions — never leave the app.
• Business card images, posters and PDFs — estimates and ads — are made on your device too.
• An email campaign is a letter you send yourself: Kinnavo fills in Apple's Mail screen, and you send it or cancel.

Where a file goes next is your choice, through the standard iOS share sheet. Nothing is sent to us.

Purchases

Purchases are made through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the transaction and any payment information; we never see or store your payment details.

Permissions

Kinnavo may ask for:

• Contacts — Kinnavo works with the contacts on your device: it gathers them into lists of favorites and keeps sticky notes beside them.
• Camera — Kinnavo uses the camera to photograph a business card or an ad for a new contact, or to take a photo you want to keep on a sticky note.
• Adding to Photos — Kinnavo saves the card images and posters you export to your photo library.
• Calendar — Kinnavo opens Apple's own event screen so you can put a meeting with this contact into your calendar.
• Notifications — a monthly reminder when the #Kinnavo list holds contacts waiting for your attention (you can turn it off in Settings), and, if you turn on My Day, a daily reminder of your important sticky notes and their count on the app icon. The reminders are scheduled by iOS on your device.

You can review or revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings. When you tap an action, the app may also open Apple Calendar, Maps or a messaging app; what happens there is handled by that app.

This website

The Kinnavo website is a simple informational page. It uses no analytics, no tracking cookies and no advertising, and it has no user accounts.

Children

Kinnavo is not directed at children.
